Hi :)
I'm Mari, mother of Isa, Thor and Simba. I'm passionate about games and music, and I currently work in IT. Want to know more? A year ago, I decided to go back to university and now I'm studying for a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems at UNINTER.
I work as a Product Owner at the Eldorado Research Institute in a really cool project with the Ministry of Technology and Innovation, TIC em trilhas. I understand a lot of Javascript and SQL, which I use to help the team's developers when necessary (to finish chaotic sprints) and I also generate reports for partners.
I've had experience teaching Swift and several game engines. I'm passionate about teaching. I've also helped plan several large educational projects, both for Brazil and for other countries (dealing with China's time zone is stressful, but possible).
I graduated in 2020 from the Apple Developer Academy, which was really cool. I did several projects with several teams with different profiles, we studied real problems in the world and tried to solve them using Apple technologies.
I also worked for a while at a startup pre-accelerator. There, I was responsible for creating the course syllabus, planning classes, evaluating activities, and actually training entrepreneurs for the market.
One of the things I enjoy most in life is participating in the Global Game Jam. This year, I participated in the event 12 times, and I was part of the organization for 10 of them. Because of my story, I was selected for the GGJ Scholarship, which granted me an incredible trip to the Game Developers Conference in 2019.
I also have a degree in Music, specializing in Music Production and Teaching Methodologies in Higher Education.
